“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
At times things tend to tumble,
And life may seem to crumble,
But this my song, my confidence—
Yes, though indeed I stumble,
Still God in us is molding,
His character enfolding,
In fragile human packages—
No good thing He withholding.
This carving by our Master—
At some times slow, or faster,
Still constant, faithful is His work
In human-hearted plaster.
He will not leave unfinished
What others have diminished,
For God is faithful to complete
His work till He is finished.
